Finding it difficult to sleep at night after too many screens before bed, stress or
it probably takes you anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour to fall asleep at night., If any of this sounds all too familiar, then this breathing trick will help you get to bed sooner

Here is how to fall asleep in under one minute using this simple breathing pattern called the "4-7-8" breathing trick, developed by a wellness practitioner, Harvard-educated Dr. Andrew Weil,  who studies meditation, breathing, and how it can be used to counteract stress.

It's easy to do.

To start off, place the tip of your tongue on the roof of your mouth, where the curvature comes to an edge behind your front teeth.

Then, simply breathe in through your nose for four seconds.

Hold your breath for seven seconds

Exhale through your mouth for eight seconds.

This is one breath. Now inhale again and repeat three more times for a total of four cycles and see the results

During this time the slow heart rate calms your body and mind.

In addition to using it to fall asleep in a pinch, you can practice it if you wake up in the middle of the night ; You can also use it whenever anything upsetting happens – before you react. Use it whenever you are aware of internal tension. Use it to deal with food cravings.
